Privacy Policy

PROTOCOL Inc. ("we" / "our company") establishes this Privacy Policy regarding the handling of users' personal information in MY AI AGENT (the "Service").

Article 1 (Personal Information)

"Personal Information" refers to "personal information" as defined in the Act on the Protection of Personal Information — information about a living individual that can identify the specific individual through descriptions such as name, date of birth, address, phone number, email address, etc.

Article 2 (Information We Collect)

Article 3 (Purposes of Use)

We use collected personal information for the following purposes:

  1. Provision and operation of the Service
  2. Responding to user inquiries
  3. Billing, charging, and revenue distribution
  4. Maintenance, support, improvement, and statistical analysis of the Service
  5. Detecting and preventing fraud
  6. Notifying users about Service info and new features
  7. Suspending users who violate the Terms
  8. Other purposes incidental to the above

Article 4 (Third-party Disclosure)

We do not provide personal information to third parties without user consent, except in the following cases:

  1. Required by law
  2. Necessary to protect a person's life, body, or property
  3. Particularly necessary for improving public health or promoting the sound development of children
  4. Required to cooperate with state agencies, etc.

Each provider takes appropriate safeguards for cross-border transfer of personal information.

Article 5 (Handling of Chat Content)

  1. Chat content between users and AI on the Service is sent to Anthropic's API and stored in our database.
  2. We use chat content only for providing, improving, and detecting fraud in the Service. We do not sell or publish chat content to third parties.
  3. Users can delete chat history anytime from the "Data" tab in account settings.

Article 5-2 (Information Sharing in Group Chat)

  1. When you join a group chat, your messages, name, avatar, and join timestamp are visible to other members.
  2. AI invocations in group chat are billed to the host (group creator). Usage history (who called the AI when) is disclosed to the host.
  3. If you leave a group, your prior messages remain in other members' history. To request full deletion, ask the host.

Article 5-3 (Send-to-group Feature)

  1. "Send to group" is a transfer of credit balance within the Service, not a transfer of cash or financial assets.
  2. Refunds after sending are generally not accepted.
  3. Send records are stored in both parties' transaction history.

Article 6 (Cookies)

The Service uses cookies and localStorage to maintain authentication state, analyze usage, etc. If you refuse cookies, some features (such as staying signed in) may not work. For users in the EU/UK, we display a consent banner on first access and do not place analytics cookies without consent.

Article 7 (Disclosure / Correction / Deletion of Personal Info)

  1. Users may request disclosure, correction, addition, or deletion of their personal information held by us.
  2. To make a request, contact kota.takeuchi@protocol.ooo. We will verify your identity and respond within a reasonable period.
  3. You can also delete your account from "Settings → Delete account" inside the app. After deletion, data cannot be recovered.

Article 8 (Changes to this Privacy Policy)

This Policy may be changed without notice to users. Changes take effect when posted on the Service.
